Cancellation by tenant
Cancellation must be made in writing (by e-mail or via booking platform). The date on which the cancellation is received by the landlord counts as the cancellation date.
Standard cancellation policy
In the event of cancellation by the tenant, the following costs are due:
- Up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge
- From 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (excl.) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
- From 42 days (incl.) to 28 days (excl.) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
- From 28 days (incl.) to 14 days (excl.) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price
- From 14 days (incl.) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
No-show or early departure
If the tenant does not show up without prior cancellation (no-show) or ends the stay prematurely, no refund will be made.
Cleaning and ancillary costs
Cleaning costs already paid will be refunded in case of cancellation, unless the stay has already started.
Replacement tenant
If the tenant himself proposes a replacement tenant who takes over the reservation under the same conditions, the landlord can decide to convert the cancellation. In that case, only an administration fee of € 50.00 will be charged.
Cancellation by landlord
If the landlord is forced to cancel the reservation due to force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, the tenant will receive a full refund of all amounts paid. Further liability is excluded.
Cancellation insurance
The renter is responsible for taking out cancellation and/or travel insurance. Any cancellation costs cannot be recovered from the landlord.
Deposit
In the event of cancellation, a deposit already paid will be refunded in full, provided there are no outstanding claims.
