The romance oozes from this holiday home. At the beginning of 2023, the dilapidated house was transformed into an extremely comfortable holiday home. This is the real Andalusia; you will stay in part of an old finca. Your hostess and host use the two other buildings of the finca as a home and office. You will not lack anything, if you do, the hostess will ensure that you can borrow it from her. The large swimming pool of Finca Tranquilidad, with lovely sunbeds and beautiful parasols, is patiently waiting for your arrival. The owner of the finca previously had an interior design shop, so you can imagine that the interior of Finca Tranquilidad is beautiful.
You enter a spacious, nicely decorated hall through the authentic patio with seating area. On the right and left there is a bedroom with a lovely double bed, both bedrooms have a wardrobe. The beds are made with high-quality linen, and the thick, authentic walls ensure that the house remains nice and cool in the summer and comfortable in the winter. Both bedrooms have a spacious ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and toilet. From the hall, the stairs take you upstairs to the living room, with a nice sitting area and dining area for 4. Behind the living room there is the kitchen. Here you will find, among other things, a coffee maker (Nespresso cups), kettle, small oven and gas stove. There is also an outside door in the kitchen.
The large swimming pool can be reached from the outside and is located on a lower terrace. Enclosed with fences, safe for the smaller ones among us. The swimming pool that you can use all year round (cold in winter) measures 8x4 meters.
If you want to leave your lovely holiday home, there are many nice villages to discover in the immediate area. Malaga, Cordoba and Granada are also easily accessible from the holiday home. Iznájar itself is a beautiful old village, in the middle of a reservoir, unique in Spain. The village has a sandy beach with restaurant. To the north you will find Rute, a village known for its many museums with food and drink as their main theme; sugar, chocolate, ham and anise. To the south there is Archidona, with a variety of very good restaurants. The provincial town of Antequera (about half an hour's drive) feels like an open-air museum. Plenty of beautiful churches, centuries-old architecture, dolomites and a fortress at the top of the city. Here too you will not be disappointed in the culinary field.
