La Estrella – Spacious Andalusian casita with atmosphere, fireplace and patio view
Casita La Estrella is the more spacious holiday home on our small-scale site "Casitas la Cueva", located in an authentic mountain village in the Andalusian region of "Los Guajares". Here you can enjoy peace, nature and real Spanish village life, far away from crowds and mass tourism.
The casita is located on a green courtyard with several seating areas and a special cave pool with jacuzzi jet streams. On the shared roof terrace you can barbecue at sunset and enjoy the panoramic view over the mountains.
The area is ideal for hikers and those seeking peace and quiet. The beach is about a 30-minute drive away and cities such as Granada and Málaga can be reached within about an hour.
The house
Casita La Estrella is spacious, comfortable and attractively furnished in an authentic Moorish and rustic style. The house is very suitable for couples, friends or families (up to 5 people) who appreciate space and comfort.
Ground floor:

The open-plan living space is bright and inviting, with plenty of character and handcrafted details that create a warm, Andalusian atmosphere.
First floor:
The wide staircase leads to the landing with access to two bedrooms:
Bedroom 1
- Luxury box spring 180 x 200 cm (new in 2025)
- additional single bed in an alcove, separated by a curtain
- Bed can be split into two single beds if desired
Bedroom 2
- double bed 160 x 200 cm (new in 2025)
- Small balcony overlooking the patio garden
- Here too, the beds can be placed apart
Between the two bedrooms is the bathroom with shower with authentic Andalusian details.
Bed linen, towels, extra pillows and blankets are included. You bring your own beach and pool towels; Beach chairs are provided. All windows are equipped with mosquito nets.

Our accommodation "Casitas la Cueva" consists of two separate holiday homes:
- Casita El Sol (1 bedroom)
- Casita La Estrella (2 bedrooms)
Both cottages share the garden, the cave pool and the roof terrace. They can also be rented together — ideal for families or friends who want to travel together, but still appreciate their own privacy.
