Hidden in the exuberant greenery of Central Portugal lies the romantic holiday home Vivenda Oliveirinha. This is one of those gems where you can still experience real peace and quiet. The large garden with richly flowering plants and accompanying scents, the refreshing private swimming pool and the cool house... Everything helps you to sink deep into a relaxed zen feeling. And if you are more of the enterprising type, there is a lot of beauty to see in the area. Above all, count on maximum enjoyment of the pure Portuguese life.

In the small village of Azival in the vicinity of Coimbra, Viseu and the Estrella Mountains lies this romantic Vivenda Oliveirinha, not far from the large reservoir Aguieira and of course the Atlantic Ocean.

In the immediate vicinity you can enjoy a lovely walk.
Get up relaxed in the morning in peace and quiet. Breakfast at the edge of the pool and in the afternoon doze off in a sun lounger with a good book. At the end of the day, have a nice barbecue with fresh fish and a good glass of wine and watch the sun go down. In the evening you can enjoy the beautiful starry sky with a glass of port wine by the outdoor fireplace or enjoy the owl's hat in the hot tub.

Vivenda Oliveirinha has been a beautiful abode with an adjacent holiday home for years.
We, Bram and Ton, took over in 2023 and now run the 'paradise' with a lot of passion.
Since we have known each other, Portugal has always been our holiday destination. After many years of living and working in the Netherlands, something started to itch. Wouldn't we do something 'new'. That itched for a few years, until we came across Vivenda Oliveirinha... We look forward to seeing you!

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The prices include electricity and gas, use of wireless internet (WiFi) and swimming pool, free firewood for the patio fireplace weekly clean linen, cleaning 1x per week during your stay.

Beach towels are also provided.

The final cleaning is € 60.
The deposit is 30% of the total rent.
This is the confirmation of the reservation and must be paid within 3 days after the rental request.
We would like to receive the remaining amount 6 weeks before you arrive with us.
Regular cancellation fees:
Up to 6 weeks before the start of the rental period, 30% of the rent (the reservation amount).
Less than 6 weeks before arrival 80% of the rent.
In case of non-cancellation or non-or partial occupation of the stay, 100% of the rent applies.

Finally, we have done everything we can to pay attention to safety. Despite this, we can never be held liable for accidents. The stay at Vivenda Oliveirinha is therefore entirely at your own risk.

Even in the high season we do not have fixed changeover days.

Additional information

From Luso you can drive or walk to the Mata do Buçaco. This forest was already created in the early Middle Ages around a former Carmelite monastery. Tree species from all over the world were collected for the forest. The Himalayan cedar trees date back to 1644. In the romantically landscaped park there is a beautiful waterfall with a magnolia pond, many chapels and in the hunting lodge built in neo-Manueline style for the last kings of Portugal from 1902 is the Bussaco Palace Hotel. There are several walking routes through the park of about 1 to 1.5 hours. You will also find the Via Sacra, chapels with life-size statues that tell the story of the Stations of the Cross.
