Casa Emilia is very quietly located, between the olive trees on the edge of the hamlet of Matos, where you can completely relax and enjoy a relaxing stay in the beautiful middle of Portugal. Escape the daily grind and enjoy a wonderful vacation in a cozy house.
The private entrance has a traditional green ceiling; Here is a desk and you can retreat in peace. The house has three bedrooms, 1 master bedroom with a double bed and 2 smaller ones, each with a single bed. The bathroom is attractive and has a sink, toilet and spacious walk-in shower.
In the spacious living room is the kitchen with a refrigerator, electric stove with oven, a coffee maker and kettle, as well as a cozy sitting area and a dining table.
There are fans available for cooling and if it gets colder there is a fireplace and there are electric heaters and woolen blankets.
At the water-basin (private use) is a sunny terrace with sunbeds and cushions. In the summer there is a shaded pergola with dining table and relax chairs.
There will be no other guests, so you will have the whole house and facilities to yourself. The owner lives in another area, at the back of the house and will respect the privacy.
Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided, as well as pool towels.
In the kitchen you will find coffee, tea, sugar, milk, salt and pepper etc. on arrival.
The hamlet of Matos has a café for a drink and a snack.
Around Casa Emilia you can take beautiful walks. Nearby is even the Caminho de Santiago, from Tomar to Coimbra. Special rates apply to these hikers in winter.
The coast with its beaches in the west is an hour's drive away. In the east you will find beautiful lakes less than 20 minutes away, where you can swim.
You can also take a walk in the garden, along the olive trees, the pear trees and the vineyard.
