Make yourself comfortable in this cozy, rustic farmhouse that has been completely renovated with great respect for the authentic elements. The holiday home is located on an enclosed domain of no less than 3,500 m², in an extremely quiet location at the end of a country road, and offers a beautiful view over the rolling fruit region.

The farmhouse is comfortably furnished and exudes charm and character . Outside, you can enjoy several terraces and an outdoor sink with integrated barbecue – ideal for relaxing andenjoying together.

Inside, the farmhouse is spacious and well thought-out. You enter through the former wine adega, where an authentic, new Portuguese cuisine has now been set up. There is a large table around the original wine press, which creates a unique and cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is fully equipped and equipped with every comfort, suitable for groups of up to 12 people.

From the kitchen you enter the dining room and the lounge with built-in fireplace. The cozy sitting area exudes an antique charm thanks to the characterful cabinets and gives you the warm feeling of a farmhouse of yesteryear. From the dining room you have access to one of the three bedrooms on the ground floor, or you can take the stairs upstairs where there is a cozy reading corner and a separate bedroom.

Each bedroom features its own bathroom, each with a unique style and different sizes. They are all equipped with toilet, shower and sink, with or without bidet.

There are several terraces around the farm. There is a central, spacious terrace with a view of the orchards, where an outdoor sink and built-in barbecue are also available. At the front there is a separate terrace, ideal for enjoying the last rays of sunshine at dusk.

In addition, you can relax in the garden, on the enclosed courtyard and of course on the large sun terrace next to the pool.

The cars are parked in a separate parking lot outside the site, so that it remains pleasantly quiet and quiet inside the enclosed farm.

The area

You will stay just 8 km from Caldas da Rainha and 15 km from the beaches.

A minimarket, bakery, local café and some restaurants are located 1.5 to 2.5 km from the farm. For larger purchases, you can go to Caldas da Rainha, with several supermarkets.

The location is ideal for half and day trips by car, including to:

  • Foz do Arelho (lagoon and beach)
  • Nazaré and Sítio
  • Alcobaça
  • Batalha

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

  • cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
  • cancellation up to the 90th day before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
  • Cancellation between 90 and 30 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
  • Cancellation between the 30th and the 14th day before the start of the rental period: 70% of the rental price
  • cancellation less than 14 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property (anymore), he will also remain liable for the full rent.

Electric bicycles are available for our guests, for rent per day or longer. We provide all safety equipment (helmet, fluorescent vest, lights, spare battery and strap). We mapped out beautiful routes of 20 to 60 km along quiet roads. With panniers and cooler bags, you can easily take a picnic with you. Thanks to the electric motor, everyone can enjoy themselves. Cycling tour with a different final destination? We will pick you up and bring you back safely.
