Casa Palmeira
Casa Palmeira is located at Quinta da Encavalada. It is located on the outskirts of the village of Senhor das Almas near Oliveira do Hospital. On this very beautiful authentic Portuguese farmhouse of 3.5 hectares of greenery, two beautiful granite holiday homes (next to each other) are available for a stay throughout the year. There is a communal swimming pool available on the lower ground for some cooling. Come and enjoy!
Holiday home Casa Palmeira is a cosily furnished detached holiday home restored from the original granite walls. From the veranda and balcony of the house you have a beautiful view over the grounds and in the distance the mountain ridge Caramulo. This holiday home has 2 bedrooms with a total of 5 fixed beds. The rent of Casa Palmeira includes:

Linen package for bed/bath and kitchen (changed weekly for longer stays)
Costs of final cleaning
WiFi/TV in every house
Heating by means of wood stove / firewood
Water, gas and electricity (up to 8kWh per day) included
Cozy sitting and dining area for 5 people
Spacious, open kitchen with good facilities (such as 4-burner gas stove, microwave, fridge / freezer)
Spacious bedroom with a double bed and a room with a single and double bed.
Bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Drying rack available
Veranda with outdoor furniture, parasol and outdoor kitchen (charcoal BBQ not allowed due to the risk of wildfires)
Smoking only on the veranda
Parking on site near the cottage or the general parking lot
Max 2 dogs allowed per cottage, for an additional cleaning fee

Baby kit to be booked separately (+2.5 euros/night). Baby package consists of;

We are Marcel and Ingrid and are the owners of this beautiful quinta. After the busy business life in the Netherlands, we want to enjoy a more relaxed life in central Portugal. Our search for more nature, space and tranquility has brought us to this beautiful spot with a view of the mountains. The small scale makes this an excellent place to enjoy. We are ready to provide you with a pleasant and relaxing time in one of our authentic holiday homes.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, he will continue to owe the full rent.
