B&B Casa Traca, Retro room

B & B Casa Traca has 4 guest rooms each with their own theme. The Classic Room is the romantic country-style en suite room with a large bath. The Classic Room is located on the ground floor. On the first floor you will also find the Retro Room, the Byzantine Room, with its large private balcony, and the Far East or Missionary room. The rooms upstairs share a large luxury bathroom. We agree with the room layout that you have the bathroom for yourself. Which room (s) you choose to stay with us will make you feel at ease and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. Each room has the possibility of making tea and coffee. Coffee and tea are available free of charge in the room.

There is a common room where you can find books, Dutch language, board games and for the children Lego and Playmobil. There is also the possibility of darts, we have an official competition board and there are also darts. Bed and Breakfast Casa Traca is a smoke-free Bed and Breakfast which means that smoking throughout the house is not allowed. In the garden there are enough seats for smoking. The entire garden, orchard and vegetable garden are freely accessible to our guests. Feel free to know our animals: the dog, the cats, the chickens and many birds. The fruit of the trees and shrubs is free to pick and eat.

Breakfast is reserved in the conservatory downstairs with a fantastic view of the garden. We also offer the possibility of using a washing machine and, if desired, dryer for a small fee. Ideal if you do not want to travel with a lot of luggage! Of course you are completely free to use your own consumables. This can be done on one of our terraces while you enjoy the sun or a picnic in the orchard with the chirping chickens as an interested company. In worse weather you are welcome in the conservatory or in the library room above.

We also offer some extra services including the option of dinner if you arrive later or after a long day out and / or a lunch package for an excursion. Alternatively, you can book some activities including canoeing on the Mondego or a guided tour accompanied by a guide. Please inform the various possibilities. The surroundings of Casa Traca are ideal for hiking in beautiful nature. There are several routes available, but you can of course also go exploring. For the hikers below you: Casa Traca is located right on the GR7 which runs through Portugal, unfortunately, the route is not clearly indicated. There are also various mountain bike routes and off-road routes in the immediate area.
