Spacious beach house with beautiful unobstructed views, a few meters from the beach. Ilha da Armona, Olhão, Algarve, Portugal. Sleeps 8. 

Casa Dunas, located on the island of Armona, offers spectacular views of the dunes and the sea. It is located just 200 meters from the beach and is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday in the middle of the nature reserve of the Ria Formosa. 

The house has a spacious open kitchen/living room with a large glass sliding door, with unobstructed views of the dunes and the sea. It has 4 bedrooms - one of which is en-suite -, 2 bathrooms, an outdoor shower and WC. One of the bedrooms is accessible via the terrace. 

A large covered terrace with an outdoor kitchen and a built-in BBQ provides a comfortable space for outdoor dining on hot summer days. And the south-facing porch with a pergola is the perfect place to read, sunbathe, sip a cocktail after the beach or admire the sunset. 

Ilha da Armona can be reached from Olhão by ferry (regular schedule) and by water taxi. It has three small supermarkets, where all basic amenities can be found (including fresh bread). There are also a few restaurants, bars, cafes, an ice cream parlour, and a beach bar. Everything you need for a blissful barefoot holiday. 

A 15-minute boat ride will take you to Olhão, where you will find a wide variety of local produce, fresh fish and seafood at the famous daily markets. The town also offers a wide choice of restaurants and laid-back bars. 

Ilha da Armona is a car-free island and the perfect place for a very relaxing holiday.

Note: The Municipality of Olhão will carry out public works on Armona Island from October 2024 to May/June 2025. This can cause disruptions in certain areas, such as working machinery, unpaved paths, or temporary water interruptions during working hours.
