Casa Dourada
Casa Dourada exudes warmth and tranquility – with its soft earth tones and location under a fragrant laurel tree. Once a simple chicken coop, it is now a stylishly decorated place of peace where simplicity and comfort meet. Perfect for long summer mornings and balmy evenings under the stars.
The cottage overlooks the mountains of the Monchique and has 45m2 and is spacious enough for 2 adults. The spacious bedroom has access to the front terrace. There is a bed of 160cm wide. The cottage equipped with every luxury: Nice spacious open living room with TV, spacious bathroom with rain shower. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven, coffee maker, fridge-freezer, toaster, juicer, hand blender and a kettle.
On the terrace at the front of the house you can sit in the sun, but there is also a shade cloth for some cooling. There are 2 hanging chairs and a large outdoor table. Parking is available directly at the cottage. After passing through the shared gate and entrance, follow the path for about 120 meters until you arrive at the land where the cottage is located. The site is dotted with fruit trees – you can pick them yourself.
Inside, the pellet stove provides a cozy warmth on chilly evenings, making the cottage a wonderful place to stay even in winter.
The cottage is located on the outskirts of the village of Odiaxere. It is located in the western part of the Algarve and is easy to reach about 45 minutes from Faro airport by car. It is a quiet village, but there are plenty of nice cafes and restaurants to relax and enjoy the sunset. There is a supermarket, a butcher, a bakery and there is a market every day where you can buy fresh vegetables, fruit and fish. The house is ideal for people who love peace and nature. Yet the house is not secluded and is within walking distance of the center.
This cottage is located on a spacious private property of 7000 m², where there are two detached cottages that I rent out at the back of my land. Both cottages (Casa Dourada and Casa Verde) have their own atmosphere and privacy, but are a short distance from each other. It is also possible to rent both cottages together – ideal for friends, two couples or a family that wants just a little more space.
