Located on a mountain with a beautiful view over the Nissermeer is our charming cottage, built in 2007 to a high standard (incl. sauna, dishwasher etc.).
The majority of the house is surrounded by a large terrace. From there one can enjoy the sunshine from sun rise until late afternoon, when the sun disappears behind the mountains.
Here you can experience Norway at its best, with the overwhelming nature, stunning views, beautiful starry sky on a clear day, birdsongs, waterfalls in the spring, and the icicles and snow in winter. This is a ideal retreat for those looking to get away from it all.
The village of Treuningen is at 8km from the cottage; this is a 10 minute drive, 20 minute cycle, or 30 minutes by motor boat in summer. Treungen has two supermarkets, petrol stations, a restaurant and a tourist office that is open during summer.
