Apartment with fjord view | Jørpeland
Welcome to our spacious holiday apartment (76 sqm) in Jørpeland, just 10 minutes from the walk to Preikestolen and 25 minutes from Stavanger. With the magnificent view over the fjord, this is a comfortable base for couples and families who want to discover the Lysefjord region all year round.
The area offers its own charm in every season: from long summer days by the fjord to colorful autumn hikes and quiet winter days with snow-capped peaks. Preikestolen is accessible all year round and is extra spectacular in the winter months (often January–March) with a thin layer of snow.
Enjoy a well-equipped kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms, a modern bathroom and practical laundry facilities for added convenience. Relax on the terrace, in our cozy living room with fjord view or in the garden, with barbecue – just as nice on balmy summer evenings as on bright winter days.
The master bedroom has a comfortable queen-size box spring (160 x 200 cm). This spacious sleeping place is ideal for a couple, or offers pure luxury for a solo traveler. Bed linen is included and we make the bed for you. The bedroom has blackout curtains. It is possible to borrow cots/travel cots and high chairs.
Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed with a double mattress (150 x 200 cm) below and a single mattress (90 x 200 cm) above. Bed linen is included – we make the bed for you. The bedroom is also equipped with blackout curtains.
Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. In the drawers and on the movable kitchen island you will find all the necessary pots, pans and kitchen utensils.
The dining area offers beautiful fjord and mountain views – a nice place for a quiet breakfast before a hiking day, but also perfect for long winter evenings inside. Through the sliding doors you reach the terrace, where you can enjoy the panorama on sunny days.
The living room has a comfortable corner sofa by the window, overlooking the fjord. There is a 55-inch TV with internet connection and a number of Dutch and Belgian channels. Chromecast also allows you to stream your own content (Netflix, etc.).
The bathroom is spacious and modern and equipped with towels, shampoo, shower gel and hairdryer.
The separate laundry room has a washing machine with washing powder and a drying rack. These facilities are free to use – ideal for longer stays.
The backyard has a sitting area, barbecue (can also be used as a fire bowl), sandbox and frisbee basket. In the summer you can enjoy the sun here until late in the evening, while in the winter the garden offers peace and quiet with a view of the snowy mountains.
There are two excellent frisbee courses nearby: at Jørpelandsholmen and at Preikestolen BaseCamp.
Free and ample parking is available at the apartment. In addition, we offer a locked storage room with two light bikes and helmets – ideal for exploring Jørpeland or taking a quiet day trip. You can also use the storage room for your own bicycles or equipment.
