For enthusiasts, we also have a beach house on Vipingo's Bureni Beach (Kenya) on the Indian Ocean. The rent also includes the staff (cook, gardener/pool man and cleaning lady)! The beach house is located in a tropical garden of 0.65 hectares, has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 2 en suite and one semi-open in the open air. Experiencing a bath or shower under the tropical sky is a must. 4 rooms have a double mattress and 1 room has 2 single beds. The upper floor has a large terrace with even better views (400m) of the beach, the ocean and the hinterland.
We try to work as ecologically as possible. Our electricity, including heating water for showers and toilets, is generated by solar energy. Water is provided by the collection of rainwater.
The house has a courtyard with a large pond, which is shown as an aquarium with hundreds of tropical fish in the living room through glass walls (ideal for children). From the large living room you walk onto a large and cool terrace overlooking the beach and the azure ocean. Palm trees and other plants such as bougainvilleas create a tropical atmosphere. From the terrace you can easily walk into the palm-lined swimming pool or descend via a stone staircase (20 steps) to the wide white beach. Right off the beach is a coral reef with an amazing array of tropical fish of all sizes and colors, sea snails, shells, starfish, crabs, lobsters, shrimp, etc. A pair of osprey catches its fish twice a day in front of the house. The beach in front of the house is also a recognized turtle area. Together with the neighbors and fishermen from the neighboring village, a nature conservation project was started for turtles and coral. Between August and October, it is likely that you will see pods of whales (even up close).
Just 2 km away there is an international, luxury golf course and - if necessary - it is possible to organize all kinds of activities, such as (scuba) diving, sea fishing, Dhow cruises, visit to a wildlife park (the Tsavo East Park is 30 km away), etc.
