Villa Poggio al Sole is an elegant country retreat in the heart of the beautiful Val d'Orcia in Tuscany. Surrounded by rolling hills, cypress-lined paths and unspoiled nature, the villa offers a unique combination of history, comfort and panoramic views. Originally built in the 18th century on the remains of a medieval village along the Via Francigena, the property has been carefully restored into a sophisticated private residence, while maintaining the authentic Florentine style.
With its expansive park, infinity pool, elegant lounges, and thirteen bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, Villa Poggio al Sole is the perfect choice for large families, groups of friends, or special events. Guests can enjoy a harmonious mix of relaxation and activity, from yoga and massages in the garden to evenings of billiards, classical music or stargazing under the Tuscan stargazing sky.

This spacious villa is spread over several floors and combines elegant interiors with spacious outdoor spaces.
The Villa
On the ground floor, guests are welcomed by three large living rooms – two with original stone fireplaces and one with a piano – which open directly onto a terracotta solarium. The ground floor also offers two double bedrooms with private bathrooms, a study, a cosy bar with a professional espresso machine and a fully equipped kitchen with two fridges, a freezer, an oven, a microwave, kettles, toasters and a juicer. Additional facilities include an ironing room, a TV lounge, a billiard room, a gym, a relaxation room with ping pong table and a bathroom with shower.
On the first floor there are three double bedrooms and five double bedrooms, one of which opens onto a panoramic terrace. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower.
On the lower floor, guests will find a large relaxation area with satellite TV and direct access to the pool, two double bedrooms, a bathroom with bathtub and a service bathroom.
The Dependance
Located in the villa's former lemon barn, the annex offers two additional double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
Outside
The extensive historical park surrounding the villa includes a beautiful infinity pool (6 x 12 m), a hot tub, a barbecue area with gazebo, a volleyball court and several shaded areas to relax. The gardens, aromatic plants, and panoramic views create the perfect setting for outdoor dining and enjoying the outdoors.
