Villa TerraLuce is an imposing 18th-century retreat, set in the rolling Tuscan hills, surrounded by a 4000-square-meter park with pine trees, olive groves, and vineyards. Located near the medieval village of Palaia, known for its truffles and recognized by UNESCO, the villa offers a tranquil, rural escape within easy reach of Tuscany's most beloved destinations, including Pisa, Lucca, Florence, San Gimignano, and Volterra.
Villa TerraLuce has been recently restored and has retained its authentic architectural character, but is equipped with all modern conveniences. The villa, spread over three floors, combines rustic elegance with sophisticated interiors, creating a welcoming atmosphere that combines tradition and luxury. The surrounding park offers shade and tranquility, making it the ideal place to relax with a book or enjoy a glass of local wine. Guests can dine al fresco at the large outdoor table under an umbrella and enjoy the beauty of the Tuscan landscape.
The spectacular swimming pool (18 x 9 m, depth 1.4 m) is located on a panoramic natural terrace overlooking the vineyards and offers both privacy and expansive views – perfect for a refreshing dip or an evening aperitif. Next to the large swimming pool is a small children's pool (6 x 6 m, depth 0.5 m). The villa also offers Wi-Fi both inside and on the porch, a ping pong table, a laundry room in a separate building and private parking. The villa produces its own wine and olive oil and is easily accessible via a paved road followed by a short dirt section.

Villa TerraLuce welcomes its guests into a warm, bright interior with terracotta and stone floors, high vaulted ceilings, and elegant furnishings that reflect the timeless charm of Tuscany. Every detail – from the antique furniture to the carefully chosen textiles – creates a harmonious blend of rustic authenticity and refined comfort.
Ground floor
Entrance hall, living room with stereo and TV, dining area with fireplace, second dining room and a fully equipped kitchen (stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and American coffee maker) with direct access to the garden. Bathroom with shower and toilet.
First floor
Double bedroom with access to a panoramic terrace and a bathroom with bath and shower; double bedroom with terrace and ensuite shower room; Three further double bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom.
Second floor
Double bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, ensuite bathroom; three double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms; and one suite with a double bed and a single bed plus an ensuite bathroom. All bedrooms on this floor are air-conditioned. Three baby cots are available on request.
