Villa Mimi is a beautiful historical retreat in the hills of Vorno, at the foot of Monte Pisano, just 6 km from the old city of Lucca. Built as a summer residence of the noble Controni family, the villa has welcomed many distinguished guests over the centuries, including Prince Frederik of Denmark and Norway. Surrounded by centuries-old trees, olive groves and hilltops with pine forests and castle ruins, this magnificent estate offers an authentic Tuscan experience combined with modern luxury.
The villa is located on a sprawling estate with beautifully painted interiors, a deconsecrated chapel, and extensive gardens. Guests can stroll through the aromatic Italian gardens, enjoy alfresco dining under the stars with panoramic views of the countryside, or relax by the private pool. The former lemon farm has been converted into a gym overlooking the pool, and outdoor facilities include a covered porch, water features, and various recreational facilities.

Villa Mimi features 11 elegantly decorated double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, combining the charm of yesteryear with modern conveniences such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and satellite TV. Four extra beds are available on request. The villa spans three floors and features spacious living areas, a large dining room, a billiard room, and a fully equipped kitchen, complemented by a majestic attic with wood-beamed ceilings.
Ground floor: Majestic dining room for up to 26 guests, elegant living room with satellite TV and DVD player, two guest toilets, laundry room with washing machine and dryer, fully equipped Tuscan kitchen, billiard room and reading room. One double bedroom with en suite bathroom.
First floor: Luxurious living room with Murano glass chandeliers and park views, elegant study and six opulent double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The bedrooms come with a double bed and single beds that can be converted into single beds.
Second floor: Attic floor with five stylish double bedrooms, some with walk-in wardrobes, all with en-suite bathrooms.
