Villa Nostra is a beautifully restored 17th-century Tuscan residence with a breathtaking panorama over the Valtiberina Valley and the surrounding rolling hills. Once a historic watchtower built by Ferdinand II de' Medici, this "Tower in the Sky" has been transformed into a luxurious countryside retreat that combines history, elegance and modern comforts. Located just 2.5 km from the medieval village of Monterchi, Villa Nostra offers an ideal escape for guests seeking tranquility and proximity to Tuscany's most beloved cities, including Arezzo, Cortona, and Perugia.
Surrounded by a two-hectare garden full of olive trees, lavender and roses, the villa features a large private swimming pool and an outdoor jacuzzi, both perfectly located to enjoy the panoramic views. Multiple terraces and dining areas invite guests to dine al fresco under the Tuscan sun, while the lovingly maintained grounds create an atmosphere of serenity and timeless beauty. Covering an area of 250 square meters, Villa Nostra combines traditional stone architecture with warm, rustic interiors. The ground floor welcomes guests with a fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, toaster and coffee makers) and a spacious dining room with an antique fireplace and seating for 10 people. A cosy reading room and a comfortable lounge with satellite TV and stereo provide relaxing spaces for evenings indoors.
On the first floor, guests will find four beautifully decorated bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms feature exposed wooden beams, terracotta floors and wrought-iron beds, combining Tuscan tradition with modern comforts such as air conditioning and thermostatic showers. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed (one converts into two single beds) and two have a double bed (convertible into two single beds), providing flexibility for families and groups.
The tower suite, accessed via a separate entrance, offers a charming private retreat with a small sitting room and bathroom on the ground floor and a romantic double bedroom with a large panoramic terrace upstairs – perfect for sunrise breakfasts or starry evenings.
