Our houses offer an enchanting view over Lake Maggiore with a mountain area in the province of Lombardy on the other side. Our house is located 25 km south of Locarno. The distance of e.g. Arnhem to Carmine Inferiore is 910 km. Very good to drive in one day.

On the edge of a 2.6 hectare forest area directly on Lake Maggiore. The place (facing south) with a rock wall and afforestation on the north side is unique. There is a lot of game in this forest area, such as roe deer, deer, wild boar, foxes, badgers, 
As a result, you can stay on the terrace almost all year round, the temperature is always a few degrees higher than the surroundings due to its location. Our swimming pool is Lake Maggiore, which you can reach via our private entrance to the Lago (across the road). There you can swim and sunbathe freely.

3 km to the north is the old town of Cannobio with a beautiful boulevard and many nice restaurants. 3 km to the south is Cannero Riviera with the same boulevard and restaurants. 

What is recommended is a boat trip to the Boromeo Islands near Stresa.Isola Bella and Isola Pescatore are interesting to visit because of the castles, beautiful gardens with white peacocks.

You can also enjoy walking on the Strada Romagna, an old Roman road over the hills from the 13th century to Cannobio or Cannero (starting point: the stairs diagonally opposite Hotel del Lago.)

Verbania about 25 km to the south is a somewhat larger city with a pleasant center. To the north (also about 25 km are the internationally known Swiss cities of Ascona (jazz festival) and Locarno (film festival). Can also be reached by boat from Brisago via the Isolo Brisago with tropical garden.

Como on Lago di Como is also only over an hour's drive from Carmine inf. An old luxury city, beautifully situated on Lake Como.  
Milan is also only a 1.5-hour drive from Carmine Inf.
