Welcome to our rustic holiday apartment, in the middle of the green hills of Macerata.

This carefully restored old farmhouse made of antique bricks is located just 2 km from the picturesque town of Mogliano (MC). The location is panoramic, quiet and surrounded by ancient olive trees, with fruit trees here and there. Sometimes we sell our own organic olive oil; a nice extra for those who want it.

The apartment

• The apartment has its own parking space and private access at the rear of the building where the large Veranda is and the view is the most beautiful. We live on the first floor ourselves and have made the layout in such a way that privacy is guaranteed. Everything is well separated and sound isolated. In fact, you don't even have to see or hear each other. We are happy to leave the choice to our guests.

• Luxurious, modern comfort in a historic jacket. Renovated in 2021 while retaining original materials, but fully equipped for a special, relaxing stay.

• Covered porch of 40 m² over the full length, with privacy and direct access to your private pool. So ONLY for the apartment guests. So you.

• Spacious kitchen with seating, plus two luxurious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.

• Stylishly finished, matching the atmosphere of the region.

Swimming pool and outdoor area

• Saltwater swimming pool, only ten times less salty than seawater, with phenomenal views of the hilltop villages.

• Spacious terrace with nice sunbeds and plenty of sun protection

• Ideal place to cool off and enjoy the scenery.

Surroundings and activities.

• We have compiled an extensive document with hyperlinks to (*CONTENT HIDDEN*) Maps, with useful facts and sights etc, etc, from the questions and comments of our over the years. This is always updated and made available as soon as you have booked with us. These services are always greatly appreciated.

• 25 minutes by car to Monti Sibillini National Park, Sarnano, Sassotetto and Bolognola.

• Less than 30 minutes to the sandy beaches of Porto San Giorgio and Civitanova Marche.

• Plenty of restaurants nearby, from traditional pizzerias to trattorias with freshly prepared meals.

• Several wineries with local quality wines in the immediate vicinity.

• Local festivals with local products throughout the year.

We are a couple and have been living in De Marken since 2008. We also rent out a beautiful chalet further down the yard if you would like to come with more than one person. There is a Jacuzzi at the Chalet. The swimming pool is exclusively for the guests of the luxury apartment. We love our peace and quiet but are happy to answer any question or request for tips. We have also compiled a whole list of in and outs of Mogliano and the surrounding area. Privacy for everyone is a high priority for us. Cozy and relaxed.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Prices & conditions

The rental confirmation becomes final upon receipt of the deposit
The deposit is 50% of the total rent
Minimum booking: 3 days (low season), 7 days (mid & high season)
Not suitable for persons under 16 years of age
Casa Gratitudine is a non-smoking property

Cancellation free of charge due to Corona is possible when:

The homeland should not be left because of the closed borders,
would not be allowed to enter Italy because of the closed borders,
When there is still a negative travel advice for Italy, Le Marche (we follow the guidelines of the Ministero della Salute in Italy and the national government).

In case of cancellation due to illness or other reasons, no free cancellation will take place and you must claim your own travel and cancellation insurance. In these cases, the following cancellation charges apply:

Cancellation more than 6 weeks before the start; 50% of the total rent
Cancellation between 6 and 2 weeks before the start; 75% of the total rent
Cancellation less than 2 weeks before the start of the trip; 100% of the total rent
If the tenant states on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property (anymore), the full rent will of course remain due. Reimbursement only in case of serious negligence on the part of the landlord.

We strongly recommend that you take out travel and cancellation insurance.
