Il Casale Lilla is located in the hilly hinterland of central Italy, Marche Region, province of Pesaro and Urbino.
The farmhouse dates back to the late 1800s and was built in local stone, handmade bricks, wooden beams and a roof in flat tiles and roof tiles. The location is isolated and secluded, at the end of a private country road, which guarantees absolute peace and relaxation. It is completely surrounded by woods and the deafening silence of lush nature. The private garden offers a splendid view of the fortified villages of Sorbolongo and Barchi and the mountain range of the famous Furlo Gorges.
You’ll find yourself immersed in a small paradise, out of this crowded world, but from here you can still reach the A14 motorway in 15 minutes, the Adriatic Sea with its sandy and gravel beaches in less than 30 minutes, but also the mountains of the central Apennines in 45 minutes by car. In the immediate vicinity there are picturesque towns and fortified medieval villages on the crests of splendid hills, traditionally cultivated fields that alternate with vineyards, olive groves and deciduous and oak woods.
We are halfway between the Roman city of Fano overlooking the Adriatic Sea and the Renaissance university city of Urbino immersed in the green hills, in that provincial Italy that is now increasingly rare, which has remained tied to its past, to its traditions, where time passes more slowly, where you feel safe and welcomed by simple and honest people, away from the hustle and bustle of mass tourism.
Il Casale Lilla has two large independent apartments on the ground floor, 60 square meters each, called "Glicine" and "Lavanda".
Each apartment has two large double bedrooms with comfortable beds with toppers, a functional and fully equipped bathroom, a living room with a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook what you prefer, obviously the moka and the espresso machine cannot be missing! The living room is equipped with a sofa, which can become a double sofa bed for two additional young guests, satellite TV and a small library. It is the right place to get away from the daily frenzy and not be found for a while, but if you really can't do it there is obviously wi-fi available. All the bedrooms have shutters, and all the windows have mosquito nets. In addition, each apartment has its own private space in the garden, with everything you need to have breakfast and lunch outside or simply relax, read and sunbathe in the maximum privacy possible.
The common areas include a large parking lot, also equipped with an electric column for hybrid or full electric cars powered by the photovoltaic system built on the roof, a laundry and ironing room, an outdoor structure for wood-fired cooking, making pizza, and a large barbecue for grilling on long summer evenings. From June to September a small swimming pool surrounded by greenery is also available to guests. Pets are allowed.
From the Casale you can set off directly with your off-road bike, or simply on foot, for excursions in the woods or along the winding provincial roads of the Marche, which who knows, may end in some nearby wine cellar. Because you know, you set off to climb the mountains, but then you stop at the first restaurant!
The owners of Il Casale Lilla live on the first floor, and are always available for useful advice, homemade jams and cakes, local products and for those who want to have fun also for courses in real Italian cooking on the large terrace that will surely end with warm dinners at sunset!
