An adorable holiday home in Gravedona
Gravedona is a charming town in a lovely bay of Lake Como. The town lies at the foot of a green hilly landscape, with a breathtaking view over the lake and the snowy peaks of the Alps. People of all ages enjoy this pretty area and the welcoming atmosphere of the village all year round. Gravedona has two sides. On one side it’s an important centre for numerous water sports activities, such as sailing, wind surfing and water skiing. On the other side, the town has a rich history with a large number of attractions. So it’s no surprise that Gravedona is one of the most popular places on Lake Como.Discover Gravedona and its surroundings
A holiday home in Gravedona is an excellent base for exploring the village and its surroundings. You can start with a walk through Gravedona itself. The characteristic old centre consists of a maze of streets, alleys and squares with nice terraces and restaurants. Gravedona used to be an important religious centre and this can still be witnessed in a number of beautiful churches, including the Santa Maria del Tiglio, Santa Maria delle Grazie and the Chiesa di San Gusmeo e Matteo. On the shores of the lake you will find the impressive Palazzo Galli, a palace from the 16th century with four imposing towers. You can also go on nice outings and daytrips from your holiday home. Visit the Piona peninsula, for example, which lies opposite Gravedona. Or go to one of the other towns at Lake Como, such as Menaggio, Vercana and Acquaseria.Easy and affordable booking through Micazu
