Our traditional trullo is located in the heart of Puglia between almond and olive trees on 10,000m2 of private land. It has been completely renovated and consists of a kitchen, a sitting area, a bedroom with a double bed and a spacious bathroom with shower and toilet. We have a spacious terrace where you can enjoy the outdoors in peace and privacy. There is a BBQ on the terrace.
This ruralhut is an authentic trullo, typical of the region between the southern Italian cities of Bari, Brindisi and Tarante in the Apulia region. Most trulli are in the Valle d'Itria, especially in the village of Alberobello. Characteristic of the trullo is the cone-shaped roof, often decorated with primitive, Christian or magical symbols. No cement is used in the construction of the limestone houses.
This holiday home is located in the Puglia countryside. Within a few minutes you are in Casalini, the nearest village, three kilometers away. Ostuni and Cisternino, the two nearest towns, are about seven kilometers away. Within fifteen minutes you can stand up to your calves in the Adriatic Sea or stretch out a towel on one of the many beaches, with or without cozy eateries. The trullo is a perfect base to discover the region. Cities such as Alberobello, Lecce, Matera and Taranto are easily accessible from the trullo. After a day of wandering through the area, it is wonderful to come home to the spacious terrace.
During a holiday we, Janny and Jerry, fell in love with this trullo and its surroundings. We also own a B&B De Pauwenhof in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Jerry's hobby is sculpting and gardening and being outside in nature, for Janny sports, playing the piano and gardening and also being outside in nature.

Some of our hosts have not yet received any, or only a few, reviews from renters who booked via Micazu. To still provide you with sufficient information about the accommodation, they have the option to have a few reviews written by renters who have previously stayed in the accommodation but booked their stay via another channel. These submitted reviews are monitored by us. Do you doubt whether a review meets our guidelines? Then you can report it here.
