This holiday home has been completely renovated with a fantastic sea view. The villa has 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 and bedroom 2 have a double bed and bedroom 3 has a bunk bed. There are enough wardrobes in all bedrooms and all bedrooms have air conditioning. There are 2 bathrooms.
The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare a delicious meal.

The swimming pool is 9.5 by 5 and there are 4 sunbeds and a cabana. You can walk to the sea in 5 minutes.
You land in Athens and after a taxi ride (or you rent a car) you are in Perama in 45 minutes and there is a boat 24/7 to Salamin (15 minutes). From the boat it is a 20-minute drive to the house. A day in Athens is very easy to achieve.

We are Filip and Daphne and have realized our dream of buying our dream house in Greece. After almost a year of renovation, our house is ready. We live in Amsterdam and try to go to Salamina as much as possible to enjoy our house. When we are not there we would like other people to enjoy this great place too.

From the airport it is 45 minutes to the boat in Perama. You take the boat to Salamina and that takes 15 minutes. The car can go on this boat. There is also a boat from Pireaus which takes 40 minutes and is a pedestrian boat. This does not operate on weekends and not after 6:00 PM. The boat from Perama runs day and night, 7 days a week.

Salamina - a big city on a small island
alamina is the largest city and also the capital of the island of the same name, located in the Saronic Bay. Nearly 30,000 inhabitants live in the city. Salamina is located on the west side of the island, on the northern coast of the bay of the same name. Actually, Salamina extends to the east coast and the famous Strait of Salamis. Paloukia is located 3 kilometers to the east, where the main port of the island is located. Paloukia used to be a separate settlement but has gradually been united with the capital because a lot has been built between the two places.

Salamina is a lively town with many cafes, restaurants and shops. The marina is located at the end of the bay. One of the busiest streets is Akti Karaiskaki, which is the coastal road in the north of the bay.

The city has an Archaeological Museum and a Folklore Museum that is housed in a hall of the new town hall. Notable buildings of Salamina include the churches of Agios Minas (the largest church on the island) and Agios Dimitrios in the center. Works by Giannoulis Chalepas can be seen in the church of Agios Minas. Giannoulis Chalepas was the most eminent sculptor of modern Greece, he was the descendant of a family of famous marble sculptors.

In the church of Agios Dimitrios you can also see sculptures by Giannoulis Halepas, but also hagiographies by Polychronis Lembesis. Polychronis Lembesis was a Greek painter, one of the most important of the so-called "Munich School", which was the most important art movement in 19th century Greece, with strong influences from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Munich. This church also houses the grave of Georgios Karaiskakis, one of the Greek heroes of the 1821 revolution.
