Very spacious holiday home adapted for the disabled, equipped with many fixed aids and extra aids, but the most important aid is the space you have here.
In the bathroom with 2 toilets and 2 showers and high/low sink with mirror, you still have enough space for a transfer with the mobile hoist from wheelchair to shower chair (fixed or loose) or shower stretcher.
Right opposite the bathroom you will find a bedroom with high/low changing table with sink.
The house has 4 bedrooms that can be furnished as desired.
Of course there are no thresholds in the house and in the living area wide passages without doors.
The floors are tiled or laminate.
Behind the house is the garden and concrete terrace with fixed bench and garden furniture with loose chairs. The garden is south facing and is accessible through a sliding glass door.
All desired tools are free to use.
The house is on the edge of a quiet village.
This means that you are only a few steps away from hiking trails with beautiful views.
Ottenstein is approx. 300 meters altitude which not only gives you beautiful views, but also better air quality.
Because of its beautiful location and the thirteen hairpin bends, Ottenstein and the surrounding area is very popular with motorcyclists and old-timer clubs.
At the bottom of the mountain the river "the Weser" meanders through the beautiful landscape.
The rides through the area on the way to one of the many sights are an experience in themselves.
In the Brouwerhaus there is a folder with many tips for excursions.
There is a horse pasture with a shelter and water supply. In consultation we can arrange hay for a fee. There is room for 3 horse trailers at the horse pasture. The holiday home has space for 3 cars in the driveway and there are still parking spaces on the street.
