In cottage Flora you can enjoy a beautiful view over the valley of Husen and surrounding nature. Completely renovated in 2025, the cottage is naturally decorated with a touch of color. The living room has a comfortable sofa to relax in after a day out in the vast nature of the Sauerland and the Teutoburg Forest. The sitting area with round table and bucket chairs brings cosiness and here too you have a beautiful view over the landscape. The sliding doors give access to the semi-covered terrace with awning. The kitchen, accessible via the adjoining hall, is fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, a Nespresso machine and ample cupboard space. The adjoining modern bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower, vanity unit and toilet. Through the hall you also reach the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and a spacious closet. The smaller bedroom has two single beds and ample storage.

The small-scale holiday park is car-free and rich in trees and birds. In the spring it blooms in abundance and in the autumn the leaves turn beautifully.
Three kilometres away, there's a natural pool with water from the Altnau river, ideal for a refreshing dip. In the park restaurant you can enjoy delicious meals in a friendly atmosphere. The surrounding area with forests and mountains invites you to discover. You can walk endlessly, the routes are clearly marked. In the cottage and at the small reception you will find options for this. There are also many routes with slight inclines for cyclists, perfect for E-bikes.
You can visit special places such as the bison near Blankenrode, Dalheim monastery, the Teutoburgerwald nature park, the Diemelsee and the Externsteine sandstone formation. Cities are also nearby. Brilon has an attractive historic center, Kassel is known for its cozy parks and romantic castles and the lively university town of Paderborn is only a 20-minute drive away. Higher mountains: Willingen and Winterberg can be reached in three quarters of an hour.
