🌿 Holiday home in the heart of the Middle Rhine region – Weyer
Welcome to our cozy wooden chalet, located in the picturesque village of Weyer, in the middle of the beautiful Middle Rhine region – a region that is on the UNESCO World Heritage List for a reason. Only four kilometers as the crow flies from the Rhine, on the outskirts of the village and adjacent to the Weyer forest, you will find our cottage in a wonderfully wooded and quiet area.
Here you can walk or cycle for hours without meeting anyone. It is a place to catch your breath, enjoy the silence and nature, and let go completely.
The chalet exudes a warm, nostalgic atmosphere. The décor is simple and a bit dated, but that's what makes it so charming. Everywhere you will find characterful details that remind you of times gone by – an old-fashioned pick-up, cute lights, grandma's old hair dryer and a set of cozy oil lamps. In the living room you can enjoy the warmth of the pallet stove, and for extra relaxation there is a Finnish sauna that can be used by appointment.
The house can accommodate up to five people and has two floors, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Around the house is a spacious, mature garden, ideal for pets that can roam freely here and thus also have a wonderful holiday. From the garden, a small door leads directly into nature, from where you can take beautiful walks through the surrounding woods.
What makes this place extra special is that there is something to do all year round. Each season has its own charm:

☀️ In the summer, the Rhine region is bustling with countless events, terraces and live music.
🍂 In autumn, you can enjoy the beautiful autumn colours, the wine harvest and the many wine festivals in atmospheric villages, old cellars or even at castles along the Rhine.
❄️ And in winter, you can enjoy walking through the quiet woods or warm up by the stove.
Highly recommended in the area is the famous Loreley plateau, just a short drive from the house. This iconic viewpoint above the Rhine is not only known for its breathtaking panoramas, but also for the many events that take place there throughout the year. Think of the "Loreley Saga Festival", atmospheric Celtic festivals, and concerts by big names in the impressive open-air theater. From rock and pop concerts to medieval markets and cultural festivals – there is always something special going on here.
There is also plenty of activity along the Rhine itself – from the famous "Rhine in Flames" fireworks displays to lively carnival parades and local markets. And close to the cottage you will even find an ostrich farm with an attractive restaurant, where you can eat delicious food for a friendly price.
