Our holiday home is located a three-hour drive from Eindhoven in the Unesco World Heritage area "Oberer Mittelrhein" which stretches over 60 km between Koblenz and Rüdesheim. Here the Rhine meanders through a deep valley that is covered with vines in many places.
The village of Patersberg is located at an altitude of 250 meters and 175 meters above Rhine level. It has 400 inhabitants. Our house is located on a quiet street where the Roman legions passed by a long time ago. It is about 200 years old and was originally a half-timbered house. In 2011 it was partially renovated respecting old elements. The interior is also geared to this.
In addition to a living room and kitchen, there are 2 bathrooms, 3 spacious bedrooms, entrance and wardrobe.
We have a spacious garden (total plot is 750 m2) that offers plenty of space for children to play and a shaded seating area. From the veranda and garden you have a wide view of a side valley of the Rhine. The Loreley is a few kilometers away.
Patersberg is located on the Rheinsteig, a well-known hiking trail along the Rhine that offers many beautiful viewpoints along the way. In the immediate vicinity are many vineyards where you can get very beautiful, especially white wines. Because the vineyards are very steep, almost all grapes are picked by hand.
The rental price includes cleaning costs and bed/bath linen.
In principle, we rent per week with a changeover day on Saturday. However, we can deviate from this in consultation.
