Our beautiful chalet - holiday home "Blick am Sonne" is located and built against a southern mountainside. From the house you walk directly into the forest to the vast fields and hills. It has everything you need for an active hiking or mountain biking holiday, or just lazing in the sun enjoying the peace and sounds that the forest has to offer. The chalet is located in the Hunsrück Hochwald National Park directly south of the Eifel, between Trier and Koblenz on the German Gemstone Route.
At the bottom of the mountain is camping Harfenmühle. The facilities of the campsite can be used. Such as the natural swimming pool, the playground equipment and the gem hunt every morning in the fast-flowing stream. (Every morning gems are thrown in here for the children to find).
• The chalet is equipped with:
A cozy living room of 35M2, an open kitchen with all cooking utensils, ceramic stove, fridge / freezer, nespresso, senseo or filter coffee, an airfryer and a dining area.

3 separate bedrooms.

A bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet in a separate room.
From the living room you go through the patio doors towards the south-facing balcony, equipped with a garden set and parasol. On this terrace you can optimally enjoy the sun during the day, and the starry sky in the evening. The accompanying house bat will also be present at dusk in the summer months and fly around the tree in front of the chalet.
Under the chalet is a room equipped with a washing machine, dryer and ironing board etc.
On this same level is a fixed terrace with second garden set and a stone barbecue.
There is also a double bed, a table with chairs where you can play a game if necessary
The chalet can accommodate up to 6 adults, or 4 adults and 2 children and has ample private parking for two cars. The surroundings of Harfenmühle can be described as picturesque with many sights.
The house is non-smoking, and pets are welcome in consultation.
Environment
Wooded, hilly area with numerous opportunities for long walks and mountain biking. Various hiking trails start directly behind the chalet. Swimming in the outdoor pools of Rhaunen or the campsite located at the bottom of the mountain. Every morning, gems are thrown into the fast-flowing stream that can be searched for by the children. The adults are also diligently searching 😀.
Plenty of sights in the vicinity, such as various medieval castles, gemstone route (mines/museums/shops), wildlife parks, historic villages such as Herrstein and of course not to forget authentic cities on the Moselle such as Bernkastel-Kues, Cochem and Traben.
The Moselle is about 15 minutes away.
In short, relax and enjoy a holiday with all conveniences with a lot of peace and privacy.
