The Cinema apartment is housed in the former village school of Forst (Eifel), which is framed between a church and the former vicarage. It has approx. 105 m² of living space and an approx. 360 m² private garden with terrace and barbecue facilities for private use.
In the 2024 completely renovated interior, you can expect a bedroom (approx. 14 m²) with double bed (1.8x2m) and a spacious bathroom (approx. 9 m²) with walk-in shower, large corner bathtub for 2 people and washing machine. The open-plan living concept with a fully equipped kitchen (approx. 15 m²) and a dining and lounge area (approx. 66 m²) offers as a special highlight a home cinema with a 110-inch screen, laser projector and powerful Teufel 5.1 sound system, as well as its own library with over 1000 books.
The apartment is perfectly suitable for 2 people. If necessary, the fold-out sofa bed in the home cinema area can accommodate an additional 2 people. We provide a baby travel cot free of charge if required.
The entire living area has underfloor heating and Wi-Fi.
The room lighting is available in warm white and RGB via remote control.
The bedroom has an electric shutter. The windows of the apartment are equipped with pleated blinds, as well as one of the windows in the bedroom and two of the windows in the living room with fly screens.
For your safety, each room is equipped with smoke/heat detectors. A fire extinguisher, a fire blanket and a carbon monoxide detector (CO detector) complete the safety equipment in addition to battery-powered emergency lighting and a first aid kit. All wall sockets in the home also have increased contact protection ("child lock") on the manufacturer's side.
The apartment is extra allergy-friendly and has a living room ventilation system; and, if necessary, via a mobile air purifier. Animals and smoking are therefore not allowed in the apartment.
From the apartment you can directly access the large, fenced garden with terrace, seating, sun loungers and barbecue facilities, which is at your sole disposal. For our young guests, the garden also offers a nest swing, a small slide and a sandpit.
Parking spaces are available in the courtyard, as well as the possibility to charge an electric car and store bicycles. Explore the area on foot, with the bicycles provided (a men's and a women's bike; if necessary a bike incl. child seat) or by car.
The apartment, which was officially registered and approved by the authorities, was also checked by the German Tourism Association (DTV) on 18.09.2024 and rated with a full 4 stars based on the features and service.
