Welcome to the southern edge of Braunlage, amidst the Harz mountains. At the foot of the Paul Berg, you will find plenty of peace and quiet in our three new, stylish apartments. Each apartment has a spacious area of 90 m2 and is equipped for up to six people. Free wifi in every apartment. Children are welcome. Indoor smoking and pets are not allowed.
This apartment is furnished with a large area of 90 m2 for up to six people. It has four bedrooms, a spacious kitchen with dining area, a comfortable living room and a spacious bathroom. Two bedrooms are equipped with double box spring; in the other two has a single bed. The kitchen offers everything that a kitchen including a dishwasher, oven, microwave, electric stove, refrigerator, freezer and coffeemaker. In the comfortably furnished living room has a flat-screen TV. Throughout the apartment you have free WLAN / WiFi. Brocken apartment is on the top floor and offers stunning views of Braunlage and Mount Wurmberg.
For each apartment are on our site two parking spaces available. Mountainbikes and winter sports equipment you can safely store with us. Additionally, you can use our large, peaceful garden with beautiful views of Braunlage and Mount Wurmberg. The garden is equipped with comfortable chairs, tables, umbrellas, a barbecue area and a variety of children's toys. If there is snow, there is a free to use sled per apartment for you.
With us you're running for your groceries in three minutes to three major supermarkets. After four-minute walk you will be on a skiweide with a drag lift, which is also very suitable for young children. And after five minutes' walk from the starting point of several cross-country ski and hiking trails.
Braunlage is the heart of the Harz Mountains. An ideal place to be active in a variety of ways to enjoy nature, places to visit and unwind. You can choose from numerous possibilities, which we gladly put here for you in a row.
Attractions Braunlage area
Braunlage provide different slopes for lots of snow fun. At all levels is expected, so that everyone - young and old, beginner or advanced - can skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing and tobogganing. Close to your apartment you will find the already mentioned skiweide and the starting point of cross-country ski. Wurmberg, located in the center of Braunlage, poses with a height of 971 meters, the highest and largest ski area in the Harz Mountains. The Wurmberg using snow cannons, making sure snow is here a long time.
Do you like action, you can also do it in the right place. By several mountains, the Harz pre-eminent area for mountain bikers. Again plenty of choice for young, old, beginner or advanced. In the various Bike Parks you will find your challenge. When the snow melts, there is for example a course of 18,000 meters on the Wurmberg. The cable car will take you with your bike to the top, where the adventure begins.
The surroundings of Braunlage is ideal for walking. There are many hiking trails, some of which starts right at your apartment. A well-known hiking trail is the Harzer Hexen Stieg. You walk from Osterode to Thale. This route takes you along green coniferous and deciduous trees, rock formations, towering cliffs, marshes and old half-timbered houses in medieval towns.
Monster Roller and tobogganing
Braunlage you steppes from the Wurmberg with the Monster Roller. The Monster Roller is a big step with wide tires. The cable car takes you to step up, where your unique experience begins! In winter open the toboggan run on the Wurmberg. For young and old, there is fun on a track of 1,600 meters. In the summer you can ride on the summer toboggan run in St. Andreasberg. The toboggan run is 550 meters long and is located about fifteen minutes drive from Braunlage.
Around Braunlage are many different attractions. Well worth a visit is the Brocken. From the highest mountain in the Harz (1142 meters) is the view of the entire Harz impressive. You can walk from Braunlage go to the Brocken or by car, but you can also reach the mountain with the narrow-gauge train. This is pulled by a steam locomotive. This train journey is an experience in itself. Tip: take warm clothing, even if it is summer. For the average annual temperature of the Brocken does not exceed three degrees. The cities of Quedlinburg and Goslar are known for their beautiful half-timbered houses. They are both on the World Heritage List of UNESCO.
Together with our children we moved in 2015 from the Netherlands to Braunlage in Germany. A beautiful setting we enjoy every day. After working 15 years in financial services to have and to have a contractor, we opted for a new adventure. We want to make our guests to their liking. Hospitality is our priority!
