Due to its location on the edge of the park, our house has a lot of privacy and a magnificent view over the Luberon that is in no way obstructed by other houses and roofs.
Our house can accommodate 1-6 people and has a (heatable) private pool that is open from May 1st to October 15th. The swimming pool has a roller cover; This is safe for (young) children and ensures that the water stays nice and warm. Our experience is that the pool heating does not have to be used in the summer months.
There are 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, 1 of which is on the ground floor with an en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms, living room and kitchen have mosquito nets. The bedrooms all have (ceiling) fans, mosquito nets, and air conditioning.
The quiet villa park also has a general swimming pool with a paddling pool and a tennis court for general use. You will be welcomed at the park by a Dutch caretaker couple. In the summer months, they offer a bread service.
The garden is spacious and offers plenty of shade. There is a dining area in the garden, where you can have breakfast in the sun in the morning.
The garden is sunny all day. During the warm hours and in the evening you can enjoy the lounge on the spacious covered terrace. In line with this is the also covered dining area.
On the ground floor, in addition to the bedroom, there is a toilet, hall, living room, a kitchen and then a utility room. The living room is furnished with wood stove, sofa and two armchairs. On the TV you can receive Dutch-language public and commercial channels and Netflix. There is a DVD player and a bluetooth radio.
The new kitchen (2023) is fully equipped with various coffee makers (Nespresso, Senseo and filter), pasta machine, blender, etc.
In the utility room there is a washing machine, dryer and extra fridge-freezer.
In the garage, a ping-pong table and gas Weber bbq are at your disposal. You can park your car in the shade in the covered parking lot that belongs to the house. (2022) There is also a charging station at the house. We are happy to provide information about the use of this.
In the ten years that we have been in the area, we keep discovering new places and nice restaurants. There are also many things to do in the area for (small) children. For example, within a radius of 2 kilometers around our house you can play miniature golf, canoe, horseback ride or go to a climbing park.
Our house is located 5 minutes by car from Isle-Sur-la Sorque, a lively and cozy French town with many antique shops, restaurants and cozy markets.
The village of Fontaine de Vaucluse is a 3-minute drive away. This cozy place is known for its spring, restaurants and from our house this place can also be reached on foot via a beautiful aqueduct.
