A detached new wheelchair accessible home on the outskirts of a beautiful old hamlet with a large terrace with stunning views over the Luberon.

The house itself and the immediate surroundings are extremely attractive for those who love the outdoors. The house of 140m2 is simply but tastefully furnished with 2 double bedrooms, each with private toilet-bathroom.

Coupled with one of the bedrooms is a spacious bathroom / toilet with a number of wheelchair services. In the second bathroom there are two sinks, a bath and a shower. In the hallway is a third toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. Next to the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine. Users of wheelchair provision is highly recommended to consult us personally.

The large living room which is also open to the kitchen connected to a large wooden terrace overlooking a magnificent Provencal landscape. The terrace is equipped with table, chairs and a recliner.

An internet connection with Wi-Fi is available. There is also a DVD player for movie lovers plus a CD player. No pets.

The surrounding landscape invites nature lovers to stroll or bike rides directly from the house. Nearby are lovely old quaint villages. The typical small villages nearby offer many opportunities to own discoveries in this beautiful region. The historic towns of Avignon, Orange and Aix-en-Provence are also within easy driving distance.

We, Terry Thompson and Bea Goethart are Amsterdammers who fell in the 80s in the beautiful surroundings of Les Cordiers and the Luberon. After several holidays in this "petit paradis" we have decided to build a house with special attention for wheelchair use. The house was built over 10 years ago. Bea is singer / singing teacher and Terry is an artist. We are at retirement age but still active in our work.

Rental is per week starting on Saturday.

Praise:
March, April, until mid-May : € 700.00 per week.
Mid-May to mid-September€ 750,00 per week
Mid-September, October, November, December, January, February - not available


Bring your own towels and sheets (1.40 x 2.00 m).
Deposit € 300  (refunded in case of no damage).
Cleaning: the house must be delivered as it was found at the start. If not, cleaning costs will be deducted from the deposit.

The shallow children's pool at the reception offers lots of fun for the small children.
The table tennis table is located in a covered area next to the communal swimming pool. Above that the reception, common room with computers and printer and terrace.
In Fontaine de Vaucluse, a beautiful village 2 km by bike, by car or via a beautiful walking route, this is 'le secret de la fontaine'. In the summer, the spring is less deep than in the winter. The spring is said to be 300 m deep but no one knows where it leads....
spacious, comfortable, cozy kitchen with 2 doors to the terraces and magnificent views across the valley there is a large teak table with wooden bench and 4 chairs. There is a flea market, green French chandelier (the 2 lamps of the pictures have been replaced!) And there is a large mobile left chopping block (not just state on the picture) Several paintings include grapes and the Vaucluse.

Fontaine de Vaucluse. At 2 km from our villa, great cycling along beautiful route along the Sorgue, It is a beautiful picturesque village with great source from which the river carves its way, many shops and studios, a working paper mill, a museum with famous Provencal figurines. Beautiful!
