The Gite 'Le Pigeonnier' with AIRCO is located on our domain PuechBlanc. Le Pigeonnier is an authentic dovecote with French doors to private terrace and garden on the south. This is our B&B so a delicious breakfast included.
On the ground floor is a small kitchen, sofa, table and chairs.
On the upper floor is a large bed, 2x1.80, separate shower and toilet.
In the gite there are also wonderful reading books, magazines and tips for the area.
Le Pigeonnier has a private terrace facing southwest, ideal for relaxing, reading a book and enjoying our delicious Gaillac wines. There is also plenty of shade. The terrace has sun loungers, dining table and chairs. Puech Blanc is built with limestone and it stays nice and cool inside. Free WIFI and AIR CONDITIONING.
Our wine farm is located in the golden triangle of 'Gaillac', 'Cordes sur Ciel' and 'Albi'; 45 minutes north of Toulouse. KLM flies 3 times a day from Amsterdam to Toulouse.
You can enjoy walking, cycling, canoeing, golfing, wine tasting, dancing, playing jeu-de-boules, good food, visiting beautiful villages and Albi, visiting flea markets and markets and relaxing by the pool or on your private terrace. In short, lots to do in the area.
We try to be as conscious as possible with our beautiful garden; You can pick fruit such as cherries, figs and apples. Get tomatoes and herbs from the garden. We don't use any poison in the garden, have a compost bin for guests too and our goose Lady Gaga eats stale bread and pasta!
Ian gets fresh bread and croissants every morning so that everyone doesn't have to go to the bakery separately.
We have also converted the bread oven into a small shop where you can buy local products such as organic wine from Gaillac, honey, lentils, sunflower oil and biscuits.
