In the former coach house of the castle of Cahuzac there is a spacious holiday home full of character for a total of 14 people in loft style.
5 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, with air conditioning.
A private heated swimming pool (so not to be shared with other holiday guests).
In the summer months rental from Saturday to Saturday. 
4-star holiday home affiliated with "Clévacances"

The holiday home is located on the castle grounds of "Le Château de Cahuzac" better known as "Château Portos", which dates from the end of the 19th century, surrounded by a park of 5 hectares, located in a green, quiet area. 
The owners, Yves and Stijn, live in the castle , which is currently undergoing a thorough renovation.

On the castle grounds there is a second holiday home "the Hunting Pavilion" furnished in a warm, rural style for a total of 10 people, with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, air conditioning throughout the house and also a private heated swimming pool (so not to be shared with other holiday guests, both holiday homes have their own swimming pool and a private garden within the larger castle domain). During the summer months, this property is rented from Friday to Friday.

We are quietly located in a green environment, but not at all isolated. The picturesque village of Sorèze is less than 2 km from us and has a supermarket, butcher, several bakeries and restaurants.
The charming town of Revel, 7 km from us, has several large supermarkets.
At 6 km from us is the Lac de Saint-Ferréol where, in addition to various water sports and walks, you also have many terraces, cafes and restaurants.

We are located in a slightly hilly landscape dominated by sunflowers in summer, at the foot of the Montagne Noire.
The Montagne Noire is part of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Park and is a true paradise for sports enthusiasts in all seasons: mountain biking, road cycling, caving, parapounting or a brisk hike.

We are centrally located in the triangle Carcassonne - Toulouse - Albi. 
These 3 tourist cities are all about an hour's drive away, ideal for a day trip.

Originally Belgians (Flemish) we were already looking a long time forward to change our lifestyle and to practice a profession with passion.

Opening 2 holiday homes in the former coach-house and hunting lodge of the castle of Cahuzac in this beautiful region of southern France is a dream that became true.

We are currently renovating the castle itself so that the glory and atmosphere of former times will revive.

The picturesque town of Sorèze is less than 2 km from us. Very nice to walk around. There is a supermarket, butcher, 3 bakeries and several restaurants. You can visit the abbey school dating from the 12th century in a historic site, which is currently a very large museum, highly recommended.
The Saint-Ferréol lake (7 km) with a dike and dam, which provides the Canal du Midi with water and is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Lac St-Ferréol is a place of great beauty with a multitude of activities (swimming under rescue supervision, pedalos, mini-golf, horseback riding, hiking, museum visit, ...) Or you can simply enjoy one of the many terraces that environment is rich (many restaurants and tea rooms) or picnic in the shade of the pine trees

The settlement town of Revel (7 km from us) with its beautiful old wooden hall and above it a belfry, offers weekly shade to a market that is described as one of the 100 most beautiful markets in France. There are 5 large supermarkets, many restaurants, cafés, ...
We are in the middle of the triangle Carcassonne - Toulouse - Albi. The 3 known tourist cities are all about an hour away from us, ideal for a day trip. They are also all 3 on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Definitely worth a visit.
