L'Xpérience au bord de mer

L'Xpérience au bord de mer is an apartment on the ground floor of a cultural heritage building right in the center of Port-Vendres. The front door is adjacent to a communal terrace. When you enter the apartment there is a kitchen/living room with a large table for 6 people and a good kitchen with a view over the harbor. From the kitchen you can put the outdoor table on the terrace, open the parasol and enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks! Then there is an open connection with a small living room with comfortable sofa bed (officially for 2 but we think it's ok for 2 kids or 1 adult and 1 child). A separate toilet and bathroom with sink and shower cubicle. Then two bedrooms with double beds, two hanging / laying wardrobes. The nice thing about this apartment is that you are right in the center and can do everything on foot. The quay with its cozy restaurants, pubs and shops is in sight and can be reached on foot within 2 minutes. The weekly market is held opposite the apartment and can be reached in 30 seconds. The port 1 minute. All the fun is in sight. The Lidle is 10 minutes away on foot. And everywhere lovely small beaches and bays 5 minutes and 10 minutes away, again on foot. If you like culture then there are really beautiful places to visit in the area. What do you think of Collioure? Known for the most beautiful light, it has a huge appeal to artists in general and painters in particular. Henri Matisse and André Dérain created a new art movement, the "Fauvism", based on the beautiful colours. In céret is a beautiful museum of modern art where Pablo Picasso  was also involved in its foundation. You can visit beautiful forts in this region and somehow everyone has time for you to proudly tell you about the heritage. The beautiful Dali museum in Figueres and his house in Cadaques can be reached from Port-Vendres via the beautiful coastal road within half an hour and 1 hour respectively. Definitely recommended when you stay so close to the border. Then you can also make a stop in La Joquera or Le Perthus. These are the tax havens where you can shop very cheaply. Are you a wine lover?  Banyuls is a fantastic kind of 'Port' wine but actually less sweet and much tastier.  The Collioure wines belong to the top of the Roussillon! You can taste everywhere. Along the coastal road that leads to Spain there are small tastings everywhere. For cyclists and hikers it is a paradise here. Many routes with beautiful views of the sea are available. In short, everything for a wonderful holiday!
