Gite Les Hirondelles is part of a beautiful, 17th century, Norman farmhouse. The nature house can be rented all year round and is therefore equipped with heating (via heat pump). The gîte is equipped with a fully equipped kitchen and equipped with a four-burner hob, cooking utensils, microwave, oven, coffee maker and refrigerator. On your private terrace, you will find a cosy garden set with garden cushions and parasols for wonderful moments. The house is surrounded by a large grassy meadow and a food forest. We have sheep and cats. You can use a barbecue, sun loungers and an ecological swimming pond. The landlords are happy to be there for you as a guest, welcome you warmly with all your questions and are happy to offer you the peace and privacy you need. You can also buy various products from us such as beer from our own nano-brewery (WitchDruid), felted scarves and collars (wool from our own sheep) and cards made by Sylvie.

We are Sylvie Charlier and Peter van Doorn. We are married and have 3 beautiful daughters. We have been coming to France for years and have seen a lot in that beautiful country. When we saw this house we immediately fell in love, and not only with the house, but also with the magical land of the Orne. We have adapted the name to our wishes: La Maison des Druides. This matches who we are. We are at home here. We hope to meet you at our home.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The tenant pays 40% at the time of booking, after which the booking becomes final.
The rest of the invoice must be paid no later than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period.
The tenant is responsible for taking out cancellation insurance and/or travel insurance.
The cleaning costs are calculated per booking and this concerns 1 complete cleaning.

The castle of Carrouges is a large castle, located at the
place of the same name in the department of Orne. The castle of Carrouges
is known as one of the most beautiful castles in all of Normandy. Today the castle of Carrouges is open to visitors.
Through a guided tour that takes about 45 minutes, you can use the
explore different rooms of this beautiful castle. With good weather
however, it is also definitely worth a walk around this
to make a special castle. This certainly yields beautiful photos.
A visit to this particular castle of Carrouges is absolutely the
worthwhile when you spend your vacation in this region.
