Gite Rouge is a 8 person holiday home with 2 bathrooms. Completely renovated and enlarged holiday home. The living room has a large lowered sitting area, there is a loft and 5 bedrooms. There is also a large private area with terraces and outdoor furniture. On the front terrace you can enjoy the view with rolling hills. On the back terrace there is a fixed charcoal bbq, 2 long tables and benches and a trampoline for the children.
You can visit the Normandy beaches and their history a short distance away, shop in Caen or Falaise or swim in the nearby lake of Rabodanges. Also Suisse-Normandy is worth seeing and is only 10 minutes away. the castle of Falaise is worth a visit, as is the town of Camembert with its center where you will receive an explanation about the making of Camembert.
You can also pick blackberries, raspberries, apples and pears on site in the autumn.
Nearby there is always a local flea market (vide grenier) where you can walk around endlessly looking for old French things.
