Gîte Le Cabernet is located on a hill in the Quercy-Blanc, with beautiful views of Montcuq and Lauzerte. Surrounded by vineyards, sunflower fields and medieval villages, this place exudes peace, nature and French charm. Ideally located within walking distance of the historic village of Montcuq with several cafes, restaurants and lively market full of local delicacies. There are numerous hiking trails, wine estates and cultural excursions to discover in the area.
This luxury holiday home is located on Domaine Lapèze. An estate of 5.5 ha with an old country house, large garden, a vegetable garden and vineyard. You will find an adults-only (16+) atmosphere, tranquility and small scale. You can fully enjoy the spacious saltwater swimming pool with panoramic views, stroll through the vineyard or read a book in the shade of old trees.
Pure enjoyment and relaxation
The gîte (over 80 m2) is suitable for four people. It is separate from the main house and therefore offers complete privacy. Inside it is bright with high ceilings and with all modern comforts. You will find a spacious, cozy living room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms and a stylish bathroom. Outside, two sun-drenched private terraces await you – one with views over the valley for long evenings under the stars, the other perfect for a quiet morning with a cup of coffee and the sound of birds singing. Le Cabernet is the ideal place for those who want to slow down, enjoy and recharge – in the heart of South-West France.

- Access to the gîte is via a staircase and is therefore less suitable for disabled people.
- After a restaurant visit in Montcuq, it's a nice walk back home.
There is a lot to do in the immediate vicinity : cycling, walking on the Santiago de Compostela route, golf, canoeing. You can also eat well at the many restaurants, go truffle hunting, visit flea markets, taste wine at the many wine domaines, go to the many night markets, shop in Cahors or spend a day in Toulouse. A great base for visiting medieval towns such as Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Rocamadour, Montauban or to the caves of Les Gouffres de Padirac.
Good to know
- Changeover day in the summer months is Saturday from 16.00h, check-out on Saturday before 10h. In the early and late season, changeover days are flexible.
- The gîte and terrace around the saltwater pool are non-smoking.
- Domaine Lapèze has 3 B&B rooms, a 2 person studio and a gîte for up to 4 people. The swimming pool is accessible to all guests (16+).
- Plenty of space for parking.
- The minimum age for our guests is 16 years.
- Pets are not allowed.
- The owners live on the same property. They will be happy to give you tourist tips or advice on restaurants and are there to answer any questions you may have.
