Beautifully situated restored country house with several terraces around the house overlooking the valley and the woods. The view is phenomenal! Very quiet location, yet not far from the major tourist attractions in the Lot and Dordogne region. This house is ideal for a small family or 1 or 2 couples, as it has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 1 of which is ensuite. The kitchen is particularly well equipped and you will want for nothing.
There is a private swimming pool with saltwater and seats/sunbeds around the house.
There are beautiful walks to make, because you can walk straight into the forest!
Visit the towns of Prayssac and Puy L'Eveque, both located on the Lot River. You can fish, hike and cycle here. Visit one of the many wine farms that make the region famous: the Cahors wines. Go kayaking on the Dordogne river, visit the towns of Domme, Sarlat and Montpazier, but above all go to one of the many night markets and taste the local delicacies.
The owners live on the same property, along with their 3 friendly and very sociable golden retrievers, the cat and the 2 horses. They give you all the privacy, but are there if they want to ask something or need help.
Due to its location on a slope, this accommodation is not suitable for families with small children under the age of 10.
Your well-behaved dog is of course allowed to come along, provided he/she can live with our dogs and leaves our cat and horses alone.
