Chambre d'hôtes B&B Lavande is part of Domaine Foret du Rossignol, consisting of a house, a gite and a chambre d'hôtes very quietly located at the end of a cul-de-sac on a hill 3.5 km outside Gourdon. At our Domaine you can relax away from all the hustle and bustle and unwind again.
Recharge the battery a bit. Gourdon is located on the border between the Lot and the Dordogne in the triangle with the world-famous Rocamadour and Sarlat la Caneda. All other sights of the Lot and Dordogne are easily accessible. In medieval Gourdon you will find extensive catering facilities, various supermarkets and medical facilities.
Our Domaine has a spacious swimming pool (15 * 6 meters) equipped with a sun terrace with sunbeds and umbrellas. The gite has a private terrace with views over the hills where you can choose the shade or the sun.
Interior
A spacious room with a sitting area equipped with 2 armchairs, coffee table, dining table. Coffee and tea facilities, fridge and TV. Behind partition a double bed (180 * 200) with bedside tables and a wardrobe. There are also 2 bathrobes. From the room you enter the bathroom with spacious walk-in shower, sink and toilet.
Exterior
The terrace has a party tent with a dining table with 4 chairs underneath and there are also sunbeds. The terrace is sheltered and has a view of the pool and surroundings.
Activities
On the outskirts of Gourdon there are 2 recreational lakes where you can swim and practice various water sports. There are many other activities to do in the area such as canoeing on the Dordogne river (10 km), climbing forest, hot air ballooning, golf and horse riding. There are beautiful walking and cycling routes. Of course, relaxing on your own terrace or by the pool is also wonderful. We live on the domain and are available for any questions or other matters. Olga is a certified physiotherapist and craniosacral therapist and she can help you to relax a little more and treat any physical complaints.
