GîTE GLAMPING LA MIRANDE, A DREAM PLACE, CALM AND NATURE
In Aquitaine, in South West France between Bordeaux and Toulouse, our old, stylishly renovated farmhouse is located in a dreamy village with about 35 inhabitants.
On our property we have placed 3 lodge safari tents and converted the wine barn into a modern, comfortable holiday home/gîte. We rent out these spacious accommodations for a maximum of 2 people.
Our glamping is located in the Lot et Garonne department, on the border with the Gers and Landes. This part of Gascony is called the Tuscany of France by the French. There is an almost Mediterranean atmosphere here and together with ingredients such as hospitality, gastronomy, culture, nature and tranquility, Gascony guarantees to live like God in France.
Specialties such as the truffle, the canard, the cheeses, the wines and the plums are all abundantly available at the cozy markets. You will want to stroll through the small bastide villages and eat at long tables at the night markets. Would you rather eat "at home"? You can pick lettuce from our vegetable garden to your heart's content. If the chickens want to, they lay an egg.
Cities like St. Emilion and Lourdes are worth a visit, but you don't have to. Although enchanting villages such as Fources, Nerac and Eauze are so close by, are actually a must. Would you like to visit Marciac with its great jazz festival, or come cycling, hiking, horseback riding, golfing or lazing by the pool? It's all possible at our child-free location.
