Perfectly restored farmhouse, consisting of a simple living room/kitchen with cozy fireplace in front of the fireplace, 1st bedroom with double bed, 2nd bedroom with 3 single beds, possibility for an extra folding bed, a bathroom with walk-in shower and bathroom furniture with 1 sink, separate toilet.
In addition to the living area, the stable was renovated, an insulated concrete floor was poured, already around new windows and doors. In the near future this will be a large lounge, bedroom with bathroom, suitable for wheelchair users, now suitable to stay when the weather will be less good, there is a comfortable lounge set, various armchairs, a table tennis table and small furniture for decoration.

What makes this farmhouse special is its unique location at the end of a dead-end, private road, from which beautiful views and at the rear a private pine forest. In the garden there is a beautiful chestnut tree, including a picnic table. Belle Jeanne is in a wonderfully quiet place without light pollution and rare noises of traffic, but the 32 ha natural lake is a short walk away. Around the lake and in its surroundings are various walking and cycling routes, you can ride a horse and you will find villages with shops for the 1st necessities. By car or by bicycle larger places can be reached with all desired amenities.

Authentic villages and towns nearby are Eymet, Issigeac, Villeréal, Monpazier, Duras, Monbazillac (for wine lovers), Sarlat, Périgueux, Cahors. The green, wooded area is known for its many vineyards and the cultivation of hazelnuts and walnuts, and many smaller and larger lakes.
In high season there are markets everywhere, famous are the night markets with live music and delicious food. Bergerac can be reached within 30 minutes by car, which can also be done by plane from the Netherlands.
Bordeaux and the Atlantic Ocean coast can be reached by car. Mentioned rates are for 2 people, for each additional guest a surcharge of 10% applies. The rates in high season, the months of June, July and August, apply to the entire house, with a maximum of 5 people, so without the extra charge for more than 2 people.
