The chalet 'Le Petit Catelan' offers convenient bike/ski-friendly self-catering accommodation in a pretty setting.
Built in 1982 and under new ownership since March 2023, it is ideal for small groups and families looking for accommodation at an affordable price in a quiet area, surrounded by nature. Located just a 5-minute drive from the center of Bourg d'Oisans and the ski lift in Allemond. The other ski centers of "Les Stations d'Oisans" (Alpe d'Huez, Vaujany, Les Deux Alpes) are only a 20-minute drive away.
Dog friendly. Accepts all dogs allowed in France, except for category 1 and 2 dogs (Toutourisme).
The house (150m2) has a cozy chalet style, an interior spread over two floors and can comfortably accommodate small groups of up to 9 people in four bedrooms. Although the house was built about 40 years ago, it has been partially renovated and kept in a fairly good condition.
The house also benefits from secure bicycle/ski storage, WiFi (**), laundry room, TV, furnished garden and private parking for several vehicles.
The external staircase leads to the terrace on the first floor. The entrance "Le Petit Catelan" is located on the left side of the terrace.
On the first floor are the living and dining room, kitchen, toilet, two bedrooms and bathroom of "Le Petit Catelan". Around the house on the first floor is a spacious terrace.
The living room has a classic wooden interior and an original "Bullerjan" wood stove, TV and two large comfortable sofas. The dining table in this room can seat up to 9 people. The kitchen cabinets are still in 1982 style, repainted and well equipped with brand new kitchen appliances including a fridge freezer, gas hob, electric convection oven, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher so you can cook for yourself while on holiday.
There is also a separate toilet, one bathroom and two bedrooms on the first floor. The larger of the two bedrooms has a double bed (two single beds placed side by side) and a single bed. The other bedroom comfortably accommodates two adults in a robust bunk bed. The bathroom has a modern double sink and a bath with shower wall.
An internal staircase leads to the second floor. Here we have a small bathroom and two separate bedrooms.
The small bathroom has a simple design: sink, shower and toilet. The spacious bedroom on the left side of the bathroom, has a cozy wooden interior and can accommodate a double bed, a single bed and a dressing room. The bedroom on the right is simply furnished with two single beds.
Next to the building is a secure bicycle shed and ski storage on the ground floor.
The house has an enviable location in a lovely garden with beautiful outdoor space to relax or enjoy an aperitif in the evening. There are sun loungers and a table and chairs for alfresco dining.
In summary, this is a nice chalet from which you can experience a mountain holiday together that you will not soon forget!
