Maison d'Izzy

Maison d'Izzy is a spacious and attractive holiday home in one of the most beautiful villages of the Languedoc with a wonderful private swimming pool surrounded by a beautiful garden with many flowers and plants. The village of Roquebrun is in the top 10 of the most beautiful villages in the Hérault. The village has a pleasant centre, just 5 minute walk from the house,  with a café, a bakery, a village supermarket, a pizzeria and various restaurants.

THE HOUSE
The house is stylish and fully equipped for 2-8 people, with a fully equipped open plan kitchen, three spacious bedrooms with good beds and excellent quality shower and toilet facilities.

The living/dining room has a wood-burning stove, comfortable sofas, large flat screen TV and patio doors.
The bedrooms are all attractive and comfortable rooms each with their own luxurious ensuite shower room.  The main bedroom has a super-king size bed 180x200 and patio doors leading out to the terrace overlooking the garden and pool. This room is air-conditioned.
The 'blue' bedroom has a king size bed 150x200 and an extra single bed. The 'pink' bedroom has a double bed 140x190 and also an extra single bed. Both of these bedrooms are equipped with highly effective ceiling fans.

Everything is attractive and comfortable: an ideal basis for a successful holiday in this fantastic Mediterranean environment.

OUTSIDE
Large swimming pool with easy access steps,  alarm system and underwater lighting. Around the pool is a large terrace with sunbeds.
The surrounding garden with oleanders, roses and other flowering plants, plus fishpond and various shady areas for relaxing, provides atmosphere and privacy.

There is a well-equipped outdoor kitchen with a hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer and BBQ and a huge dining table seating 8 people.  This whole space has been designed to make the most out of outdoor living.

There is ample private parking on site in front of the house. Note from the owner – our house has been named after our cat, Izzi.  He loves his home too much to leave it in the summer, so we ask please that you share it with him.  He has his own access and Melissa and Steve make sure he is well fed and watered.  He will keep out of your way, unless you encourage him to join in, in which case you will find he is quite sociable and loves his tummy being tickled.  Environment
The River Orb flows through the village providing an idyllic swimming opportunity located just a 5 minute walk from the house. On the Mediterranean Sea, 40 minute drive away, you will find many pleasant seaside resorts and very spacious, clean sandy beaches.  Beziers airport is just a 50 minute drive away.
