Beaufort is very centrally located and you can easily make trips to the many sights or just walk through the beautiful nature in the immediate vicinity. Cycling or mountain biking is also possible. In the nearby village of Olonzac there is a large local market every Tuesday. There is a nice lake 'Lac de Jouarres' at a 10-minute drive. The Mediterranean Sea is about an hour's drive away.
