the bus station is close to the Av. Félix Faure, near the flat. You can go there for a few euros to Menton, Cannes, etc. The French state promotes travel by bus and that is why it is so cheap. You should also go to Biot, but transfer to a smaller bus, halfway). Eze (note, take bus to Eze village and not to one plage). There is a beautiful cactus garden with many other tropical plants. Eze village is a nice old village, but touristy. Monaco is also worth a visit, as is Monte Carlo. Furthermore, there are beautiful museums in Nice: the Chagall museum, the Matisse museum, Terra Amata, Musée des Arts Asiatiques, Musée de l'Art Moderne etc .. It is also interesting to visit Antibes, Picasso museum etc
Right across the flat are several very good restaurants: an Italian rest. a French, etc.
During a study trip, I fell in love with the Old Town of Nice. When my eye fell on an advert of a flat in Nice, in the magazine "Paru-Vendu", I immediately made an offer! We still come back a few times a year, now 15 years later.
