Just a 10 minute drive away is the Parc Aventure, treetop fun for all ages and very popular with our visitors, and an excellent go-kart track.
There are lots of walks in the area - some can be done from Les Glycines Gites, with explanatory maps. Just north of l'Absie is the Rocher Branlant - the 'rocking rock' - a huge balanced boulder that moves very slightly when you push it!
The pretty medieval town of Parthenay, 30 minutes away, has many half-timbered houses, museums and historic churches. A walk through its streets is a must.
