The vacation home

The nature house (intended for a maximum of four people) has a spacious sitting room around a wood-burning stove with two large French doors to a large terrace of 90 m² with a beautiful view of the hills, meadows and deciduous forests.
In the large garden of 1,000 m² you will find a covered garden room of 80 m² with outside kitchen and an (open) fireplace. There is also a swimming pool of 4.5 x 2.20 meters (in summer), a table tennis table, a large trampoline and a hut.

There are two spacious bedrooms on the first floor available. The beds are equipped with good mattresses, a protective mattress, pillows and duvets. The house has a bathroom with toilet on the ground floor and the first floor.

The house is ideal for four people who want to enjoy the surroundings in peace. The house is located at a distance of approximately 780 kilometers from Rotterdam, in the department of Creuse.

The area

The Creuse, the center of France, is the least populated and least touristy department of France, but one of the richest areas for the walker and those who appreciate peace and beautiful surroundings. You experience true silence and on clear nights the sky is not veiled by city light, so there is a unique view of the stars and the nebula.
The Creuse River flows through the area, often painted by Monet. The department is rich in water. If you like walking in silence and discovering the landscape in peace, you can indulge yourself here.
You can walk for miles directly from the house along / through meadow and forest areas consisting of mainly deciduous trees, such as oak, chestnut and beech. You meet many species of birds and deer!

Attractions

In the immediate vicinity there are fun things to do for adults and children such as tree climbing, sliding on lakes, water skiing and waves.
The creuse is a fish-rich area.

In 2005 I was on vacation in the Creuse. A beautiful nature reserve in France with many deciduous trees such as oak, beech and chestnut trees. No busy tourism. I was given the opportunity to buy an old vacant farmhouse with a beautiful view of a valley with meadows and forests. The farmhouse has since been rebuilt over the years into a beautiful family home, well insulated and fully equipped.

The holiday location is rented for at least one week from Saturday 4.30 pm until 10 am the following Saturday.
The location is only rented with 4 sleeping places ( so a maximum of 4 people may stay overnight at the location).
The venue may not be used for parties with multiple guests.
You will receive a brochure and the conditions after booking or if you request this in advance. (Text in Dutch).
Use of washing machine costs 2 euros and dryer costs 3 euros each time.
Use of linen is without obligation.
costs will be charged for this, but register in advance!
There are no cots and high chairs available at the location.
You must clean the house yourself. If the house is not sufficiently cleaned, settlement will take place via the deposit.
In consultation you can later decide to hand over the cleaning to the owner of the house. The costs thereof are 75 euros and will be deducted from the deposit costs.
