Welcome to Moulin Fouché, a beautiful holiday location right on the lake l'Etang Fouché in the town of Arnay-le-Duc. It is located on the south side of the Côte d'Or department in the Bourgogne Franche-Comté region. Our log cabin / lodge 'La Cabane' could be called a compact studio or a luxury hiker's cabin. The wooden chalet is insulated and fully equipped. 'La Cabane' is classified as follows:
Inside
- In the living room there is a table and two chairs, bench and wardrobe. On the wall are a few shelves, a television with soundbar and an electric heater.
- The kitchenette is fully equipped with pots and pans, four-piece crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, two-burner gas hob, extractor hood, refrigerator, kettle and filter coffee maker.
- The sleeping cabin consists of a double bed of 160 x 210 cm, with night light and niche for charging mobile phones.
- The toilet has a mirror, shelves and extraction. There is also a hair dryer.
- The shower cabin has a rain shower, hand shower, rack for shampoo and extraction.
- There is sufficient bed, bath and kitchen linen available.
- Wifi is available throughout the studio and on the terrace.
Terraces and garden
- In front of the studio is a terrace of 6 square meters.
- This terrace is elevated and fully covered.
- Please note: This terrace is not yet visible in the interior photos.
- On the terrace there are two relax chairs with garden cushions and during the season a table with two chairs.
- From your terrace you have a view of the beautiful garden, the stream and the sandy road. You can enjoy the peace and quiet, each other and the good life.
- The terrace and the adjoining garden are sheltered, but not fenced.
- From the garden you are within 1 minute at the edge of the lake.
Tips
- Interior space in the studio is limited, so bring travel bags if possible and no suitcases.
- There are a few shelves and a small hanging cupboard.
Location
The holiday apartments of Moulin Fouché are located in a lotissement with no through traffic. Because the gîtes and the studio are located at the bottom of the dike, you only hear some sounds of walkers and swimmers. On the terraces and in our garden you are in the middle of the greenery and it is good to be. If you walk up the path, you will be directly on the picturesque lake l'Etang Fouché. You can enjoy walking, lying on the beach, swimming, pedal boating, supping and fishing. Despite the fact that your studio is located on the outskirts of Arnay-le-Duc, all facilities of the town are a short distance away. The bakery and supermarket are even within walking distance. In the center you will find several good restaurants, nice cafes and cozy terraces.
Surroundings
The Côte d'Or department and the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region have a lot to offer! The landscape is rolling and forms a patchwork of grain fields, meadows, vineyards and forests. In the spring, the rapeseed blooms in the fields and in the summer you see sunflowers everywhere. There are many places worth seeing nearby. Dijon, Beaune, Semur-en-Auxois, Autun and Saulieu not only have nice shops and cozy terraces, but also interesting museums. One of the most beautiful villages in France - Châteauneuf-en-Auxois - is located a stone's throw from Arnay-le-Duc. In Burgundy there are dozens of imposing castles to visit. You will also find interesting museums, beautiful abbeys, old churches and large cathedrals. The best wines in the world come from Burgundy and the Côte d'Or. After half an hour's drive you are in the middle of the wine region.
