There are many other outdoor activities in the area, including horse riding, fishing, go-karting, and paintball. There are also beautiful, quiet bike paths to explore, and bikes are available for rent nearby.
There's a choice of lakes with beaches and activities, two of which are 20 and 30 minutes away. There's so much to see in the area, with the beautiful medieval village of Segur-Le Chateau just 3.5 km away, where the Monday farmers market is a favorite and the best in the area. Here you can buy food and drink mingle with other tourists and locals alike and dance to the music. Many Dutch people attend every week. The center of Pompadour, with its castle and racecourse, is 10 km away and is also home to the stud farm. The Dordogne River is 5 km away, and here you'll find the famous town of Rocamadour, an hour and a half's drive away. There are also many beautiful caves in the area to explore.
